I am new to snake ownership. I love my Sand Boa because it is so docile and friendly. I have only had her for 2 weeks. She ate once (live mouse last week) and is now starting the molting process. I have noticed something strange – to me anyway. She sometimes makes a clicking sound (mouth closed), she opens her mouth a lot but only since the molting started (not to bite) but just like a yawning, and a few times I have seen her shake her head almost like someone would do if they were chilly (cage is plenty warm at 90 degrees.

What do you think? All sound normal – or at least OK?

THANKS!
Tom
