The lights and getting the temps correct did wonders for Grissom.

Now for a feeding question. Some days Grisson is a PIG, some days he eats like a bird. I have been feeding him (crickets and meal worms..some times just crickets, or just meal worms, sometimes both at once) in a seperate Steralite tub for the most part. If I put the food in his enclosure he shows no intrest. And I have been told not to leave the un-eaten crickets in the enclosure over night because they will eat his toes???

Just a few days ago he took food from our hands for the first time...and he PIGGED OUT. Thes last night, feeding in the seperats tub, all he ate was like 3 or 4 of the meal worms. Oh, and let me add that last night was also the first time we did the powdered Vitimans. Could they have had a funny taste that he will gwt used to?

I want to hand feed him just occasionly, but rely on him to eat from his cage for the most part.

1) So, to kind of train him to eat in his cage, should I hand feed him in the bottom of his cage to get him used to the fact that is where his food will be?

2) Should I just put the food in the cage and he will search and destroy when he gets hungury enough?

2) Is the cricket thing mith or fact?

Again, thank you in advance,
Dave
