You might want to do a search to make sure the plants your looking at are ok. They will do just fine in light, there is plenty of light in the wild. I see my basking under a 100w light all the time, where the hot spots about 100 degrees. They'll be just fine with UV for the plants, up till this year I kept live plants in mine and they didnt even notice because I ended up with 22 hatchlings.
