For juvenile it needs to eat protein everyday because he is still growing. To tell you the truth I'm not a big fan of feeding cat food to blue tongue skinks. It's unhealthy to feed cat food dogs because it is too fattening and it has other stuff that the dogs don't need which can cause some problems if fed long term. I usually offer the salad in the morning and then later I offer mine some crickets and sometimes one or two fuzzy mice. When I offer crickets I usually dust it with calcium and multivitamin powder.
