I went to the Richmond reptile expo (drove 2 hours too, lol). Since it was the first one I have ever been to, I don't have much to compare it to.

The only complaints I had were the drive, the fact that the show didn't have as many dealers as I expected, and there were mostly ball python morph dealers.

Some cool things about it were a lady selling dart frogs, others selling commonly found colubrids (though there were some neat colour morphs of kingsnakes, corns, and milks that I saw), some large pythons and boids, and a few tarantulas, scorpions, and millipedes. Also, ALL of the dealers were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to let you handle whatever you wanted to and answer any and every question you had (sometimes dealing with multiple people at once)! All in all, I enjoyed the show and will likely attend in the future.
