Does anyone have an idea of what my new males possible origin could be? I guessed it's a Sauromalus Ater but I have three common chucks from Nevada and Arizona and they don't have the light coloring and speckling that he has. He does not seem to be as light as most of the granites that I have seen photos of so I am clueless. The scarring on his back and legs was caused by an intense basking spot prior to my purchase.
