Well, I wouldn't give him beetles as a regular diet as their shells will be hard to digest, but once in a while wouldn't hurt. Many beetles produce acidic chemicals that taste bad so he may not eat them after the first try.

Thanks for the compliment! I've kept chams since about 1994, starting with a male veiled. I don't have any chams at the moment as my current house and climate make it pretty difficult, but have kept veiled, jackson's, 2 subspecies of fischeri, verrucosus, melleri, deremensis, and cristatus.
