I would flush the lizard's eye out with water. Did you do that? And I would still do the olive oil treatment. And REALLY mind his environment and be sure it is clean and mite free! If you want the horror story of mites, Eve's website, Suncharmers, tells how a very knowlegeable lizard keeper lost many of her little buddies to mites. The devastation to her collection was swift and unforgiving. Good luck with your little buddy.
