Just curious, I know from what I've read here and elsewhere that if you can see spurs...its a male. Is this hard and fast no exceptions?
Also, what if you can't see spurs? My dum is less than a year old and I'm fairly sure she's female...no sign of spurs,and I've seen them clear as day on younger males. Are there males in which the spurs aren't clearly visible, or is it for sure female if there are no spurs?
I could get a probe done I guess, but everyone seems to say the spurs are pretty reliable in these guys.
