yep......I fed every other day...I mean it's a frozen thawed pink, how much volume is that?...and the baby chondros are actually fairly big babies (compare to corn or red milks...wow)...
...mine ...I let them copulate in like 2 years? to get to know each other, they were like 3 foot or so in a year,? they bred and she laid in just short of three years of age I think I remember, forget how many eggs?...17?....full term dead in eggs most of them, only one baby out....female was totally attacked by mites IN her nest box....I treated all the cage space and all but forget the nest box (spanish moss in it).....they attacked her badly, she came off nest after a couple weeks and was totally dehydrated, I would pull females from eggs if I ever bred them again........
I also popped my chondros ,I was told to never pop them young it will crush the tail, well, I wanted to know what I had before raising them for 3 years....so I popped at like maybe 6 months old ? I forget , maybe less, ...don't think I popped them as babies, ....(and I have small hands and don't crush snakes to begin with) .
in case anyone wondered any of this.......GTP can be fun and fairly easy to raise and breed........
good luck all...... . . ----- ......9 ......58/ 7 -1 ...........................
