Hi, I'm a new uro owner although I am experienced with other herps. At the weekend I purchased what I'm fairly sure to be a 10.5" male Aegypticus, however it was sold to me as not offically ID'ed as the guy knew that it was not a Mali or acanthinurus but did not have offical 100% confirmation that he was an Eygptian but still thought he was.
So...I can't get pics up atm but I'm wondering if there are any features of an Egypticus that wont be found on the other common species that I can look for on him?
Additional info: His tail was huge compared to the larger acanths he was housed with at the shop.
His head is small compared to his long body which seems to be a trait of the egyptians.
His colour ranges from dark sandy green to light sand with no real markings visible
I know this is a bit stupid without pics but any hints would be welcome but I will get some shots in the next week.
Thanks for reading.
