Thanks I am shooting with a panasonic lumix dmc fz18. Just stock for now.

The florida easterns have a certain "look" to them that other easterns just don't have. They even have a different shape... A really big clunky but narrow head, giant bulging eyes that almost don't fit on their head (especially as babies the eyes are overwhelming) and a very distinct, sharply contrasted perfectly squared checkered pattern usually with a nice distinct dorsal stripe. They also have a distinct looking "collar" behind their jawbones that sets them apart from most other easterns. These are just observations I've picked up along the way... after a while... it just becomes second nature to be able to distinguish the FL blues from other easterns, even if the FL blue is... well, not blue! I have a blue male, a blue female, the red female, and a brown female as well and they all just have "that look". I don't have a measurement in size on her but she is just a tad smaller than My blue girl, Bluela. And I think once she gains more weight, she will fill that gap rather quickly!
