I have not seperated the pair since they were introduced. I will seperate the male in about a week as time will be getting close to laying date. I am also watching a pair of balls as the female is proceeding in the same manner more or less as my jcp female. I'm hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. I mainly am going to have to seperate my male jcp because he wants to hide in the box while he is in blue. Bad timing I guess. I wish I knew more about box sizing for a brood box.
