BTW, I treat them like beardies as far as temps go, because they come from a similar environment. They do not like it super hot, but will bask at 105, then spend most of the day on the cool side watching the birds, in hides, or buried. They do need UVB and supplements.

This is also a really detailed one. And it is true that they make a MESS of their food with the digging, so I am planning on cordoning off the substrate part and feeding them on a tiled section. Simply using a piece of tile on the substrate won't work. They will dig under it and tip everything over! They are compulsive, obsessive diggers!
