Ball pythons were imported by the millions. Bloods only in the hundreds. Each country has its own quotas but they are largely used for the skin trade and roughly 500-1000 live animals are imported by each respective country: Sumatra and Borneo.

Gravid females are not shipped that I am aware of intentionally. Farmed animals do come in, but are subject to the same quotas above. Unlike ball pythons, bloods do not breed as quickly and forcing growth on them is counter-productive.
