Merauke/Southerns????

Are Merauke and Southern Scrubs the same snake? I see pics titled Southern or Merauke and they look exactly the same (pattern, scales). I have a pair of Merauke scrubs that look exactly like what some people call Southern Scrubs. Actually I think they look exactly like the giant Australian scrub though they are "supposed to be a different locale."
