Hi,

I was thinking on to get a Uromastyx and i relised that it is a little bit hard to find any in my country (Hungary) Long story short i found a 1,5 years old ocellata male which is looking to kept fine.
I read at deerfernfarms.com that these guyz: "are one of our more "fun" species to work with, but are not suitable for homes where you you wish to handle your pet on a regular basis"
"....hey quickly become shy if regularly "caught" for handling"
So I ask you, who are already have these little colorful lizards, do you realised the same? Shouldn't they handled daily for short periods like 5 mins? Will i really make him so stressed that he will be at his hiding place all day long, etcetc...

Another question is ,that will he be able to get used to with his new place at me? Or i should leave him there where he is now and should try to move him to my place?

Thanks
