Congrats! Whether or not they take earthworms right off the bat is going to completely up to chance. Brownsnakes are genetically programmed from birth to recognize the scent of their food and unfortunately for you, the Northern Brownsnake did not co-evolve with earthworms as a food source (earthworms are a non-native species). You may need to start them off on slug pieces and then wean them over to worms by rubbing small worm pieces in slug slime. It may take time but eventually they should start taking worms without you needing to scent them every time. There is a chance they will take worms without any fuss right off the bat depending on the genetics of the population they came from. Hopefully you'll get lucky.
