Adam,
You will hate rats in tanks as the cleaning is 10X that of tubs. That and tanks just don't have airflow and rats must have air. IF you must....use the low long tanks and say...a trio in a 20long. That sort of thing. 10 gal are too small for anything at all. The tall tanks have no airflow and a mother to get water or food down into at all.
