the other day me and my boyfriend found a little turtle in his moms back yark when he was cutting grass. we live in south louisiana and i've seen many box turtles and the turtles that be in the bayous but the one we found just dont look like neither. her house isnt close to any woods or bayous is a neighborhood with houses close together. so we was thinking he/or she might have gotten lose form someone in the neighborhood.

i see that different types of turtles eat different things and have different needs as to taking care of them and keeping them healthy so it would be greatly appreciated if someone would tell me atlease there opinion as to what this little guy might be so i can take care of him/or he the proper way.

thanks
