Ok! .. the chuck at left is an adult male, he's observing a recently hatched family member chowing on some weeds..

.. now look at this image.. can you see what's going on?

.. that's one of the female breeders with a couple of neonates.. here's a closer look..

This next image is of a BRAND NEW chuckwalla..

.. this is an adult male being lazy (Chucks are real slackers)

.. here's a mob of these going after some Coreopsis..

.. chuckwallas are great fun.. and will teach you a lot about nature and seasons and gardening too!.. if you are willing.. But don't get one if you are not ready to give them exactly what they need for a long time (I have a chuck that is at least 17 years old!)..
