I am pretty certain my crested gecko has MBD and it seems pretty serious as his jaw is simply dangling. If I help close it, he can hold it closed for a little bit before it falls again. I've been scouring the internet and people I know for advice on this.

Yesterday, he ate well and seemed to improve. Today, though he took only a little but did have a good defecation. I realize he may yo-yo, but I want to know what are my chances of actually pulling him out of this. Is he going to be deformed? Has anyone successfully brought their crested back and if so how?

He's my first crested, I've had him for a long time, and I am completely miserable over the situation. I thought I was doing everything properly- but apparently not.

Any help or support is most appreciated.
