After keeping Blueys for well over 10 years, being from Australia (where they are NATIVE),having 37 Blueys from various species and associating with numerous herpetologists over the years, I can tell you that there is Nothing wrong with feeding dog foog to a blue tongue skink.

Blueys are scavengers. In the wild they eat mostly protein. Snails, rodents, insects, dead animals - all these foods are taken well before ANY vegetable matter. Blueys prefer meat, simple - that's just how they are - they do eat Vegetation, just not alot.

If you were to feed a bluey canned cat/dog food and added calcium and mutivite to the food - you will NEVER have a trouble in regards to the food.

I feed Cat food with supps, have done for years! Currently waiting on another bath of babies too.
