Brumating RES

I have 3 large female sliders that I keep outdoors in an above ground cattle trough. I live in southcentral PA, so I feel that I should bring them inside and drain the trough less I risk the "pond" freezing over. I don't have a real cool place to store them, so the best I can do is room temp with no external heat.
