Rat and mice waste as fertilizer?

I'm just curious if anyone uses their rodent bedding for fertilizer. Every google search I run on the subject seems to discuss ways of killing rats around a farms compost pile.
I have about 900 sq. ft. of garden area to work with so it wouldn't ever have to be piled up in one place for long.
All of my rodents are on pine shavings and are fed Mazuri 6F 30.
Any ideas, tips or links would be appreciated. Thanks!
