A friend who breeds alot of rats. Puts all the shavings into a pile than turns the pile. I talked to a guy along tim ago that composted alot of stuff. Fish carcasses and all. He said if you compost it hit. It would break down faster. The friend got so much bedding he started giving it to the nursery next door they use it in their compost piles.
