The reason I'm never without some form of reptile or another is because I imprinted on an adult pair of Gopherus agassizii as an infant. Somewhat like Romulus and Remus, I suppose. Those tortoises had free roam of our house. My earliest recollection is my older brother tormenting me with them. Of course, they thought I was something good to eat.
