I have a 7-8 foot male jungle carpet python an he is a great pet. Very docile with handling. Likes to be in the open. When he was smaller he wrapped around branches I had in there for him or he would go in his hide box. I still have branches for him to climb around on as well as things to hide under. (I have a big enclosure for him)

Baby JCP's on the other hand are nippy, flighty an want nothing to do but get away from the hand that is holding it. But I've been told they get better as they grow an get older.

I have been thinking about getting a green tree python but from what I've read they do not tollerate handling an they require high humidity levels all the time.

Well, just my thoughts....
