Thanks for the reply. I believe I have three Ornate boxies. It all started when I took in my first from a student that lost interest. (I'm a teacher.) I don't think he had the best start in life and wasn't cared for properly. He is very...we'll use the word - "mishapened." He's young, but I just have a feeling he's a male. He is very feisty and full of spunk! My kids named him Sparky One! Then I acquired two others by chance. An elderly woman passed away and the realtors had the landscapers remove all of the turtles in her backyard...sad, but I took in two because 1. I got hooked with the first and 2. It scares me to think they may end up in the wrong hands and not get cared for properly. Well, one I believe is an adult female and very mellow and the other is young - maybe a year? I thought all three could live harmoniously, but I was wrong. I had to separate Sparky 1 from the other two...his was very aggressive to them. Anyhow, sorry for rambling. Are yours Ornates also? I posted them on another forum and it seemed to be that the consensus was that they were Ornates. How many do you have?
