I give them zuchini as their water source, and I always dust them to counteract the phosphorus content. Crickets, I gutload but only bother sometimes dusting if they're for a gravid female, but meals and supers I cheat lie hell on.
I'd rather not use mealworms at all, but they're one of the most readily accepted food items, and they can be obtained very quickly during finicky periods. When one of the kids is burned out on crickets (usually Pancho or Nino) I've got to give them something, and if they're burned out on crickets AND supers, then mealworms it usually is.
