I just attempted to feed my retic a fresh killed mouse. He shwoed no real interest in the fresh kill. It looks like his eyes may be just be starting to glaze. I put a live mouse in the cage under under close observation for the snakes welfare. He finally got interested in the mouse and attacked.

1. Is it possible that the lure of a live mouse was too much to withstand even going into shed?

2. This is his third feeding since I have had him and his fourth overall. He still doesnt quite have everything related to feeding figured out. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
