Not sure about the peas thing, and my pair of Malis never eat them LOL!! Mine do eat some of the purplish colored greens in the spring mix I get for them, but not as much as the green stuff. Just vary your greens with spring mix, collard greens, turnip greens, even romaine lettuce. Offer some mixed veggies every now and then. I also keep a small container of birdseed in their cage to eat at will. Mine also do not appear to be big flower eaters like my torts tend to be.
