Hi, I worried about my Russian tortoise.

I posted this in the Russian tortoise forum, but I was afraid it wouldn't get enough attention.

I was feeding my tortoise dandelions when I noticed the top of her tongue had red on it, and if I looked closer, it seemed like they were dots. It looks almost as if it were a burn.

I'm not sure whether she might have eaten something that poisined her, but I was wondering if anyone shared the same experience?

thanks so much for your time!
