I had one for many years, one of my favorite snakes, I would like to get some more. The one I had lived for about 10 years. it ate mice without any problems and was one of a pair I was mistakenly sent as slug snakes. The other died within a week from Asian acclimation syndrome. I have seen several Asian species die from this, they don't eat, they get blister disease or white pustuals indicating some type of fungal infection and die pretty quickly treated or not. If you get one that lives more then a few months odds are they will be LTC's.
