Incubation question

I bought a 2 pound bag of HatchRite and this will be my first time using it. What I want to know, for those of you that use it as an incubation medium, is do you make ventilation holes? (I'm using Tupperware containers.) Or do you leave the containers alone and air them out weekly? Thanks in advance.
