Well, unfortunately I haven't handled Ubie for 2 days. I had to see to a 2 yr old mali that came in to the rescue. The poor little guy has tapeworms, burns on his feet and an injured right arm!! He needed a lot of tlc.

All the info in my prior post is the same. I actually spoke with Doug and have ordered his suppllements, Mazuri tortoise pellets for Ubie.

Do you think I should handle him/her every day? When I put my hand in his/her enclosure, he/she seems to be ok with that. It's when I go to pick him/her up and/or place the food dish in that he/she hides. How do I encourage curiosity? Anything I should do differently?
