hello bindidragon, rtl says to run out and get the megaray/ t-rex bulb but right now they are having problems so it would be wise to pass on that until this problem is fixed. unless you can find a t-rex active uv manufactured before october 2009. if the bulb has problems the lizard will soon end up avoiding the bulb , and how will you tell if it is having problems acclimating or just avoiding the bulb?
for now the exoterra solar-glo is a good bulb- minimum distance from lizard=12"
