Got a Call from T-Rex last night .... All of their Active UV/heat bulbs marked with a J, K or L are being RECALLED !!!! This includes the 100w and 160w bulbs. They were made with Faulty glass and the glass is allowing TOO MUCH UVB to get through.



This will cause your lizards to close their eyes ALOT, move to the non-lighted area of the enclosure and if exposed too long, can cause permanent eye and skin problems. The effects will show up in your lizards within 2 - 3 Days of putting bulbs on them.



These bulbs were sold in the past 60 days to many different retailers but DO NOT CONTACT THEM ...... Contact T-Rex Products DIRECTLY ... Don't bother going through the place you bought it from, they will tell you they don't have any replacements until Late MAY ... T-Rex is getting their shipment of corrected bulbs this coming Friday (Apr 23rd).



I'm just glad they caught it fast and are doing their best to get replacement bulbs out to everyone as soon as possible.
