Well Dr Seward taught me the muzzle taping trick, he deserves that credit! His book has worked really well for me as a guide, but his friendship has been priceless with my projects success so far. Super super smart nice guy to say the least and his animals are unbeleivable.
Be careful when applying the tape but about 1/2" thick strip duct tape works well. They can still use thier tongue n drink just not latch on.... I misinterpreted my adult gilas sexes and one lost a finger and almost lost a hand because of it. What ya gonna do live n learn....I'm learning a lot about these animals.
