Posted by: gatorsnap5 at Wed May 5 01:05:19 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by gatorsnap5 ] hello all, i came home today to find one of my AST's up out of the water for the second day in a row and his mouth was starting to dry out and so was his shell, he had his head draped over the side of the basking platform and he looked dead, i picked him up and he started moving around and trying to bite me just like he always does so i put him back in the water. the same thing happened yesterday after work and i havent changed ANYTHING. not water temperature not filtration, not feeding schedules or types of food, nothing. i was just wondering if anybody else has had anything similar happen to them and their alligator snappers, sorry for the lengthy post and thanks in advance for any help you guys deem worthy of posting here in response.
