Someone brought me what they described as a very fat short mtn.king...3-4 days later it dropped 5 perfect eggs...the snake was 38 grams after dropping the eggs, and didn't even look bad.

This snake weighed only 38 grams? Wow! I have two 08 female pyros that weigh many times that at 170 grams and 120 grams as of mid May,and I am still waiting for them to reach three plus years of age before attempting to breed them. One of the males is very restless lately; I think he would like to breed. He cruises around in his cage and is not as interested in eating currently. I think he can smell the females nearby.
