the fact is all carpets reach peak coloration at 1 to 3 years and then they dull out, turning more brown and black. that is not to say that some jungles will not maintain nice coloration well into adult hood but this is the exception not the rule. nine times out of ten if you see a pic on the internet of a screamer jungle it is actually a JUVENILE and not an adult or it is an integrade. my advice to you is to be patient look long and hard and buy ADULTS so you know what your getting into.
