Both of them have were recent imports but acclimated very well. They were both treated for intestinal parasites several times (after they got here) and I know/trust the guy I got them from. They've eaten like clock work since then, and shed like normal, with the occasional exception. So today I'm soaking one of them in a rubbermaid tub, with regular tap water that I use to water them, and I put in a piece of slate. Got the rock from a friends house who has them for reptiles, so I at least know it wasnt treated with anything at his house. Let the snake soak for 30-45 minutes in warm water, like I have done before, but when I came back...dead as can be. Anyone have any thoughts on this? The other one is still looking great, is practically blue like an oil slick, never had a bad shed, and eats once every 7-10 days. They're kept identically, because the cage they're kept in is a two part acrylic cage, with a permanent divider in the middle. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
