I'm looking to start my own culture of whatever staple I provide for my Tiger Salamander. However, that staple being earthworms, I'm having trouble finding worm cultures that are not COMPOSTING worms from farms nearby. Does anybody know if they can or has anybody tried feeding their Ambystoma Tigrinum composting worms? They're the tough red ones. I think earthworms would be a better bet but if they can/do eat composting worms then it would be a win-win situation from both a composting and feeding point of view. Thanks!
