They are roughly the same difficulty, i.e. not bad at all once you have a feel for the subspecies. Coxi are generally bigger animals overall, and may be slightly more consistent feeders on frozen/ thawed.

Having worked with lots of both, my feel is that coxi females are somewhat more "hit or miss" than laticinctus females. Some female coxi just aren't inclined to breed for some reason, and fail to develop follicles and ovulate even when right next to other females that are triple clutching.

Latis are generally more consistent, with less of a propensity to completely whiff.

Both subspecies can double/ triple clutch and breed young. Coxi have large clutches (6 eggs is fairly typical), while laticinctus typically have smaller clutches (usually around 4 eggs).

As mentioned above - pick whichever appeals to you more, they are very similar.
