what i had to do,when i was in your situation, was to use my best friend.'google'.i googled 'red-eyed croc skink care',and got about 5 or 6 seperate caresheets.now, there were tons of links, but only 5 or 6 actual pages.i read them all,and just kinda blended them all together.
i keep mine in a 20 gal long tank for the pair, and a 10 gal for the lone female.i cut 1/4" plexi to fit the inside lip on the tank frame, and use duct tape as a hinge,so the lid doesn't accidently fall in.i drilled 10 1/4" holes in either end,for ventilation.
for bedding,i use coconut fibers mixed with clean, organic topsoil.i don't bother with any sort of heating or light fixture,as they are nocturnal anyway.i keep them at room temp,in the mid 70's,and mist them good every other day.they have spacious hides, and large, shallow water dishes.
i offer dusted crickets as needed(i like to keep a couple in the tanks at all times),and offer gutloaded mealworms 2 or 3 times a week.i dust everything in a good calcium/vitamin powder, with a little repashy cgd thrown in for s's and g's.
this has worked out just fine for me,i've got some chunky little skinks.
