You have the same variation in albinos as you do in normals. Some will have remarkibly high contrast orange, while others will be much more drab. Since the "normal albinos" came from egyptian stock, most are yellow albinos. Pretty, but they lack the contrast that an orange phase albino shows.

To me, it seems that the big rush was to create albinos, then snows. It doesn't really matter what the albino looks like to create snows, so noone cared as much. Its only in the last few years that I've noticed that people are really refining the "normal albinos" to be high orange/high contrast.

Not all paradoxes are high contrast either. I've got one that the orange is quite muted. She's in the pic with a paradox snow and a regular snow. I like the amount of black she shows, but if she were a normal albino, I'd probably pass on adding her to my breeding pool.

I seem to be the oddball out. My favorite phase is a high orange normal. Next is a high orange albino. The rest are pretty even.
