I have two blues one who is now four years old and another who will be turning 1 this year. I've never had a problem with either of thier eye sights. My 4 yr old male has pretty good vision as i found out a few months back he say an escaped cricket agains the wall in the hallway and charged it he actully got it to and this was from about 20 feet away.

If you happen to have albinos, a year or two ago i had one and yes she had some vision problems. If you have a young tegu that seems to be missing food espcially moving food thats not too uncommon. Last problem i can think of is either not a great diet (ie cat food, it doesnt have enough vit A and can lead to eye problems) or the uvb is to high and can danmage the retinas.
