So, a couple months ago, a nearby county with stricter possesion laws than ours gave us a call saying they had a 6 foot spec that they had confiscated from a guys apartment. Well, we have other crocodilians and outdoor ponds/pens to accomodate such a beasty, so we said we'd take it. Well, it shows up at our house...and it's a whopping 14 inches. Yes, the 6 feet of death confiscated from some guys apartment...was 14 inches. So, using their caluclations, I'm 36 feet tall.

Anyway, all that aside, he decided to take our relationship to the next level today, through sharing "bodily fluids". I've been bitten by retics, burms, all kinds of nasty creatures, but this was my first crocodilian bite. We're keeping him inside at the moment (because he's much too small to keep with anything else we have) and I was removing him to clean out his pond, and he decided to let me know just how things are going to be from here on out. I guess anyone can make mistakes, and I'll be honest, it was absolutely his small size that let me let my guard down...definitely not something to be repeated! Sorry for the rambling, just wanted to share!
