Hello, I usually don’t post here much but would just like to share something NEW! I keep a few leos in my quince monitor cage. They are settling in very well! Ive noticed the two youngest girls have gone through atleast 2 reproductive cycles each and there are now about 3 clutches in the 3x4x6(lxwxh) enclosure.

Heres the new. I found a female with her eggs in the pothos plant that I have hanging in the cage, 4 ft up. They’ve scaled the branches and lattice before, but I wasn’t expecting her to lay in the plant. There is plenty of cool and warm soil down at the bottom where they usually hang out. I really would’ve liked to have left the eggs there but I would’ve gotten them too wet with the routine watering. Another cool thing is that once I took her down, after about 33 minutes, she climbed right back up to the same plant.

I’ve grown up keeping leos and always thought they were the type just dig, lay and leave. Tells me how much I know.

Thanks for reading, sorry I don’t have pics.
